Cookie Statement: HelpCCMS

Short version: we use no tracking cookies, no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies. What we do store is what is needed to keep you logged in and to remember how you set up your own screen. That is why you do not see a cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
1. Cookies we set

That is the complete list. We set no other cookies.
2. Local storage: your interface preferences
Besides cookies, we store a number of preferences in your browser's local storage. This never leaves your device, is not sent to us as a cookie, and contains no personal data. It is what makes the application remember how you had it set up:
- which pane or tab you last had open in the editor;
- which sections you had folded open or closed;
- your interface scale and theme;
- whether you have already seen a one-off explanation, so we do not show it again.
You can clear this at any time via your browser settings. The application then simply starts from its defaults.
3. What we do not do
- No Google Analytics, no other web statistics package.
- No advertising or social-media pixels, no retargeting.
- No third-party trackers whatsoever.
We do keep track of how often certain features are used, but that happens on our own servers, tied to your account, not with a cookie in your browser. What that data is and why we hold it is described in the privacy policy.
4. Payments
When you take out a paid subscription you are redirected to Stripe for payment. Stripe places its own cookies on its own pages, under its own privacy policy. We have no access to them.
5. Why there is no cookie banner
European rules require consent for cookies that are not necessary to deliver the service you asked for. Everything we place falls under that necessity: without the session cookie you cannot stay logged in. For strictly necessary cookies you must be informed, which is what this page does, but consent is not required.
If we ever want to place cookies that do require consent, we will ask you first, before placing them.
